Cold Bokkeveld

This witnessed fall dropped several meteorites after the appearance of a brilliant fireball and loud detonations. Cold Bokkeveld is a carbonaceous chondrite type CM2 - a dark meteorite with many small white and brown chondrules. This one can be very difficult to obtain, especially since all the negative media attention regarding Cold Bokkeveld and the trading in South African meteorites in general during 2001.
