Overland Park

Overland Park was uncovered by a back-hoe operator (a tractor with a front loader on one side and digging arm on reverse) in June 1998 while digging out basement foundations for a new housing estate. Before building works began, the area had been a cropping field of milo.
A small, singular stone weighing just 1374g was all that was recovered of this meteorite, it has been classified at the University of Manchester, UK as H4; S2; W3 and was published in the Meteoritical Bulletin 85.
