Barwell comparison 1.jpeg
Barwell compared to the 1.3kg UNWA...slice on top is Barwell...underneath is the NWA with similar basaltic clasts, metal content and matrix.

Great pics Martin. It was fun having you along this year with Graham and I. Long may it continue. We will need a BIMS minibus soon! ;-)

I haven't had a chance to even take my pics and vids of the hardware yet. Might get some time tomorrow.

Funnily enough, I am most pleased with my smallest purchase. It's something I've wanted in my collection for ages. Only two specimens of it at Ensi for sale. A 5.5k euro slice and a 60 euro slice! I got the smaller one.. The bigger one was incredible but the smaller one shows all the same detail, but just on a smaller scale and will do me for now. Pics to follow. A clue. bencubbinite.

I like Martin bought some LDG (500g chunk) which is not your normal cloudy horrible rubbish. This stuff was from a hoard collected in the 70's and only now making it to market. Really lucky to get a large piece. Martin and I got the best two pieces for sure.

Yes, thanks Graham and Luther for the fab company :-) For me it was as much or even more about meeting people and soaking up the atmosphere (and the beer/wine/vodka/polish pinecone moonshine) as it was about acquiring a lot of new stuff. Although I did ok on that front too ;-)

Will work on Jim Brady too so we can storm the place next year! ;-)
