hello everyone,
Great finding but I was thinking will some of the fossil meteorite available to buy in future?. as they said 100's of fossil has been found. and I am waiting for that.

Yes, that would certainly make a nice slice for display :-) Not heard of any ever being available on the private market but you never know, maybe one day :-)

There's a video on youtube in which Philipp Heck describes the investigation of fossil meteorites. Ignore the text write up on the page.

Philipp R. Heck is the Robert A. Pritzker Associate Curator of Meteoritics and Polar Studies at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL. He is also a member of the Chicago Center for Cosmochemistry based at the University of Chicago.
