77th Annual Meeting of the Meteoritical Society

Postby David Entwistle » Sat Sep 06, 2014 12:07 am

As many of you will already know, the 77th Annual Meeting of the Meteoritical Society will be held on September 7-12, 2014, in Casablanca, Morocco. The web page is here. From there it is possible to download the programme and abstracts, the authors list and other details. There will also be a couple of meteorite-related workshops.

I see that the Isotope Cosmochemistry and Geochemistry Group, from the University of Manchester, are in attendance and say they will be using twitter feed @Earthsolarsystm (is the missing 'e' intentional?) and blogging updates here.

Hello! The Meteoritical Society Conference 2014 kicks off today and we have a contingent of researchers here to bring you some of the exciting research finding that are being presented.

Keep an eye on our twitter feed (@Earthsolarsystm) and here on the blog, to find out about the exciting work being talked about and also a few bits of inside information on the lives of researchers on tour!

That’s all from me for now, its far too sunny and hot here in Morocco to be sat in a bar without an ice cold drink!
