Postby Nordor » Wed Oct 01, 2014 4:47 pm

Dr Smith will talk about these fascinating specimens and more during her lecture at Dorset County Museum Dorchester on 8th October 2014. The lecture takes place at 7.00pm and doors are open from 6.30pm. The event is free but donations are welcome and all are welcome to attend.

Anybody in SW Dorset Wednesday 8th Oct - sounds unmissable!

Thanks Nordor,

That sounds great.

Anyone planning a trip, from Greater London, may like to consider calling in at Andover to see the Danebury meteorite, and Salisbury to see the Wiltshire (Lake House) meteorite. You could carry on to Royal Albert Memorial Museum, Exeter, to see their mystery meteorite too. Travelling back via Bristol to visit Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.

Anyone know any other meteorites on public display in south west England?
