I was a bit surprised to see this large chondrite sat on the top of steps at London University Hospital, Euston Road, London. Very nice though....

That's brilliant! Bit too big for my cabinet though ;-) Although may fit in your behemoth of a cabinet Graham............

Cheers

Excellent Dave...nice stone...a few thumbprints would have been nice though. Too big for my cabinet too Martin...but would make a nice seat in the middle of the room :)

Clearly not a chondrite, it just looks too much like one.... An interesting thing none-the-less; I'm guessing man-made ( stuck together and then polished, specially for display. Quite a lot of work. I do like it though.

On what I think is a related subject, but could be wrong, a well know museum curator asking about quarantine procedures for meteorites....
