very excited, saw large object entering dark flight last ngt

not sure of the time but think it was about 9 ish

I looked up and just caught it entering dark flight...very exciting.It was just slightly higher than Orion and tracking its path back it may have been close to passing thru Betelgeuse moving south west

It was lit for maybe a half of a second then blinked out.It had no tail.At first I thought flaring satellite but it was moving way too fast.It could only have been a large meteor entering dark flight.

I listened carefully but no sonic booms so likely hundreds of miles away, or it didn't make any
