Possible meteorite?

Hi there,
Would just like to know your thoughts on this rock I found with my metal detector. Approx. 8lbs in weight, slightly magnetic. Thank you!

Interesting stone...does not look like any meteorite I have ever seen...I doubt it is one. Nothing suggests it is as most of the features are contradictory...eg dark interior with light outside....nearly all meteorites are dark on the outside and lighter inside. If it is slightly magnetic then it would have a dark crust due to the iron content. Only recourse would be to see if anyone would do a proper scientific analysis. These days I don't write off anything as there are so many unusual meteorites being found that can contradict traditional views.

Pretty sure it is a terrestrial stone...they are not flow lines and look like formed from the internal structure.

Well they are definitely out there somewhere...just very difficult to find and identify in temperate climates....definitely keep looking...good luck.
