Czech Meteorite Study

Postby David Entwistle » Wed Jan 11, 2012 9:03 am

Hi,

The Czech version of National Geographic has a very nice article on the role Czech scientists have played, and are playing, in the recovery and study of meteorites. The article mentions the work of Dr. Zdenek Ceplechy and the ongoing collaboration of Pavel Spurny, Phil Bland and others in operating the desert fireball network. I hope it makes it to the English editions.

It's taken me a couple of attempts to find the link to the 3D video of the Bunburra Rockhole meteorite, mentioned in the title. It's down at the bottom of the article, or you can go straight to it from here.
