Just one mass weighing 27.5Kg was found of this coarse octahedrite, 5 miles North of Ocotillo in California. Etched slices reveal a very bright Widmanstatten pattern and many irregularly shaped graphite inclusions. This can be a very difficult meteorite and locality to acquire for private collection.
